Author Guidelines

AL-MAQSAD welcomes original research articles in the field of Islamic Studies. Manuscripts must not have been published previously and must not be under review in any other journal.

 

Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts may be written in English, Bahasa Indonesia, or Arabic.

Articles must follow the format provided in the Author Guidelines.

Files must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.

All submissions must be made through the online submission system (OJS).

 

How to Submit

Register/Login as an Author.

Click New Submission in your dashboard.

Upload your manuscript file according to the template.

Complete the metadata (title, abstract, keywords, etc.).

Click Finish Submission to complete the process.

 

Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Editorial decisions will be communicated via email and through the author’s dashboard.

AL-MAQSAD is published twice a year:

  • June
  • November

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
